An interesting study was conducted in Boston, which primarily concerns women who dream of having a child. As it turned out during the experiment, regular exercise and visiting the pool contribute to a woman's reproductive function.

The study took place in Denmark, where more than three thousand women volunteered to become mothers, but they had difficulties with conception. To make the study more objective, the specialists chose women of reproductive age from 18 to 40 years. The duration of the experiment was one year, during which approximately 70% of the women who participated in the study managed to become pregnant.

Throughout the experiment, scientists analyzed the health of women, as well as their physical activity. Scientists made the following conclusions: those women who had not strong, but prolonged physical activity (cycling, walking, etc.) managed to get pregnant. At the same time, scientists noted that excess weight did not affect the probability of conception.

After the experts made the final analyses, they noted that such physical activity of about five hours a week increases a woman's chances of getting pregnant by 18%. The experts made all comparisons with a control group of women, where physical activity was less than one hour a week.

However, the idea that the higher the physical activity, the greater the chances of a woman getting pregnant is wrong. In this case, you can't overdo it, because you can get the opposite effect. For example, intense jogging or aerobics for more than five hours a week reduces a woman's chances of becoming a happy mother by as much as 32%. Therefore, scientists recommend that women who are planning to get pregnant give up excessive physical activity and give preference to lighter sports.

An active lifestyle not only helps you get pregnant, but also helps you get through such a difficult period as bearing a child much easier. Women who do special exercises during pregnancy, walk a lot in the fresh air, have a significantly lower risk of having a cesarean section. As studies have shown, women who did gymnastics three times a week (no more than an hour a day), did various strength exercises and stretching gave birth to children with a greater weight (more than 4 kg) much less, in addition, the likelihood of a cesarean section was reduced by 34%.

Women who do special exercises during pregnancy suffer less from toxicosis, especially in the second and third trimesters. Late toxicosis is dangerous not only for the health of the expectant mother, but also for the development of the baby. Gestational diabetes is a rather dangerous condition, which pregnant women suffer from due to a violation of carbohydrate metabolism. After childbirth, the woman's hormonal background is normalized and diabetes goes away without any special treatment.

All this once again indicates that moderate physical activity is necessary for women's health.
