Constipation is an unpleasant thing, and sometimes very dangerous. To get rid of this delicate problem, sometimes you just need to change your eating and behavior habits, and then there will be no need for medications.
Movement
Lack of physical activity, a sedentary lifestyle become the cause of intestinal laziness, it stops working normally, and as a result - constipation appears. Aerobic exercises - walking, running, abdominal exercises and cycling - will help to cope with this problem.
Lack of fiber in the diet
The basis of fecal matter, its substrate, is fiber. Fiber, like a cleaning brush, is able to clean the intestines and activate their work. Insufficient fiber consumption leads to stagnation of toxins in the intestines and problems with digestion.
Water
We notice that the body is on the verge of dehydration when the deficit becomes significant. Headache and fatigue are not perceived as signals indicating a lack of water in the body, and thirst is often confused with hunger. This can also affect the functioning of the intestines - a slight lack of water can compact feces, which will make it difficult to remove them.
Fast food
There is almost no fiber in such products, but the content of fat, sugar and salt is simply off the charts. Fats are digested for a very long time because the body tries to squeeze out the maximum energy from them. This delays the digestion process.

Vitamin supplements
Some food additives can also slow down the digestion process, especially minerals such as calcium and iron. If taking medications is necessary, try to include figs, prunes and other dried fruits in your diet.
Laxatives
Frequent use of enemas and laxatives can cause addiction and make it difficult to empty the bowels on your own. Therefore, such methods should be used in rare cases, and it is best to use natural products that have a similar effect.
Containment
Bowel movements should occur when it is necessary, and not when it is convenient for a person. Many people, when at work or visiting, are embarrassed to go to the toilet and "bring" everything home. But this should not be done, holding back leads to compaction of fecal matter and a decrease in the ability of the rectum to empty.
