Nutritionists have prepared a rating of products that are very harmful to children's bodies. This list will be useful for parents who themselves cannot resist the temptation to eat something tasty (while knowing that the product contains flavorings and preservatives), and thus set an example for their children, who from an early age reach for a pack of chips or a bottle of colored soda in stores.
So why is everything harmful so tempting to us, and we cannot restrain our desires and buy products that are absolutely useless for the body, and sometimes even dangerous?
Yogurt
Advertising does its job, and we believe that the smell and color of yogurt are given by the pieces of fruit floating in it. And that it is a dairy product that brings only the most useful things to the body. But along with the “healthy” dairy product, we also eat all the unhealthy additives – thickeners, antioxidants, stabilizers and flavorings. Therefore, before you buy yogurt for your child, think carefully whether he will be healthier after tasting all these additives?
Chips
This is a mixture of fat, carbohydrates, flavor substitutes and dyes. The process of their preparation also leaves much to be desired, because due to its features, chips are saturated with dangerous carcinogens that can provoke the development of cancer. In addition to the fact that an "overdose" of chips causes nausea, headaches and general weakness, there is a risk of increasing bad cholesterol in the blood. The same can be said about crackers and nuts, which cause great harm to the developing body of a child.
Hot dogs
Hot dogs, hamburgers and other fast food products also fall into the category of dangerous to health. If you allow your child to regularly consume such products, then digestive problems are just around the corner - gastritis, colitis, heartburn, nausea and constipation. In addition, this is a direct path to gaining excess weight and obesity.
Vegetables and fruits
If you have the opportunity to grow vegetables and fruits in your own garden, then this is a huge plus, but if not, then this is already a problem. There are a huge number of attractive fruits and vegetables on the shelves of supermarkets, but are they always healthy? No one can guarantee that these natural products did not grow near a factory or a highway. A storehouse of vitamins can turn out to be a toxic accumulator, which will provoke not only poisoning, but also serious health problems. As for preservatives, sodium glutamate may be present in the composition of vegetables or fruits, which can cause headaches, as well as cause joint spasms, up to metabolic disorders.
Smoked products
Sausages, hot dogs, smoked meats – all of this is appetizing, and just looking at these products makes your mouth water. But be careful – such tasty and aromatic smoked products may contain more flavorings and fillers than meat itself. During the processing with benzopyrene, carcinogens are formed, which, let us remember, cause cancer. To please your child with a tasty meat dish, it is better to buy fresh meat and cook something for him at home.
Chocolates
Of course, this is a favorite children's treat and no matter how persistent you are, the baby will still ask to buy him a chocolate bar. However, you should remember that even one bar contains a huge amount of calories, which enter the body in the company of dyes, chemical additives and flavors.
