The company Retrevo, which owns a search engine for household appliances and electronics, conducted a survey in which more than 33% of people admitted that they had at least once checked their e-mails and phone numbers secretly from their loved ones.

Husbands often follow their half without her knowledge, in this admitted 37% of respondents. In addition, 39% of mothers and 36% of fathers confessed to controlling children.

59% of parents also reported that they would monitor the location of their children using a mobile phone.

If we compare the results of the survey with the previous year, the number of young people under the age of 25 checking e-mail or the history of their partner's calls increased from 37 to 47%. It is worth noting that mostly women are suspicious of their partners.

In conclusion, the researchers state that users should beware of surveillance from not only large corporations and social networks, but also their loved ones.
