Philip Darbri, a biochemist at one of the leading British universities, well remembered the moment when she refused to use all her toiletries and sent them to the dump. Philip heard how once one of the students expressed a widespread opinion among the people that deodorants can provoke the development of cancerous tumors. At that moment Professor Darbri became interested in this opinion and decided to check whether the preservative contains in the breast tissues, which is added to almost all modern deodorants. According to the producers, the substance used was completely harmless to human health and did not penetrate into the deep tissues. Like most supporters of official medicine, Philip was skeptical and was sure that the development of cancer is completely unrelated to the use of deodorants and other cosmetic products.

However, studies have shown that the preservative was present in the tissues of the breast, and Philip Darbri was the first to prove this scientifically.

As Helen Rambelou (a columnist for the British diary) writes, over the past decade, breast cancer among young women (before the age of 50) is becoming more and more and experts are asking whether this is due to improved diagnosis, a tendency to obesity in the modern generation, or there are other explanations this.

Now almost everywhere chemicals are used, especially parabens (preservatives, many cosmetic products), phthalates (make the surface smooth, use in nail polish, liquid soap, shower curtains, etc.), bisphenol (makes the plastic stronger, used in the production of bottles, metal cans, etc.).

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, chemicals were detected in the urine of almost 100% of the population, while women's urine contains more phthalates and parabens (which contain skin care products and perfumes).

According to Helen, this does not mean that one should go to extremes and abandon modern cosmetic means, since scientists have not yet proved that these substances can provoke tumor development. As studies have shown, both phthalates and parabens have a weak effect on the hormonal background (as is known, breast cancer is hormone-dependent).

The chemicals affect the level of estrogen, although to a small extent, and scientists suggest that they can affect the development of cancer associated with the level of this hormone - prostate and breast cancer.

Oncologist William Goodson, who, together with colleagues, studied the effect of small-dose chemicals on the development of cancerous tumors, noted that cancer can not be linked to chemicals, no one has done research at the moment, whether a mixture of chemicals in the same cream is capable of causing an oncological process, whereas it is known that individually, these same chemicals, can not provoke cancer.

In an interview with Rumbelow, the scientist noted that he and his family did not use food or water in plastic packages, did not eat artificially grown fish, and while he refueled the car, he himself was trying to turn his face towards the wind.

According to Professor David Kupenter, who also took part in the interview, a number of specialists are of the opinion that if the substance does not affect DNA, it can not cause the growth of a malignant tumor, but the available data, although not sufficient to draw specific conclusions, can not be ignored. According to Kapenter, everyone needs to think about how many pesticides are used in everyday life, for example, during the application of nail polish, no one uses good ventilation to avoid inhaling harmful vapors (ideally it would be under the fan).

Philip Darbris noted to all other fire-resistant spray, which by law should be applied to furniture, according to research, the substance from the spray is in the blood of 97% of people, especially the high level recorded and adolescents. As studies show, this substance also affects the level of hormones.

Itself, Philip believes that you need to minimize the use of body care products. For example, she herself uses shampoo, a usual firm soap, but she refused moisturizing creams and deodorants.
