Today, Internet users began to notice interest in social networks, more and more people prefer real communication. To such conclusions the company studying an online market has come.
Experts of the company conducted a survey, during which more than half of the users almost completely lost interest in Internet communication.
26% of the respondents removed questionnaires from social networks, as they were strained by the fact that their personal life was known not only to friends and acquaintances, but also completely strangers.
About 20% of the respondents in the survey were negative about the fact that strangers could comment on the events taking place in their lives. In addition, more than 21% annoyed advertising in social networks.
Approximately 10% of survey participants deleted their accounts from Twitter, 9% stopped using Facebook to communicate. However, social networks continue to enjoy great success among young Internet users from 8 to 15 years (the survey was conducted among the age group of 15 years).
The conducted research in the sphere of virtual communication by another company that develops antivirus programs showed that more than 50% of the participants in their survey noted that after using social networks their adequacy dropped, the other respondents noted that their popularity was higher. According to a survey of 42% of the respondents, virtual communication helped to become more active, and 58%, on the contrary, there was laziness.
It is worth recalling that earlier studies in one of the universities showed that isolating users from social networks significantly reduces self-esteem.
The experiment was attended by users of Twitter and Facebook, which were divided into different groups. In one group, users were banned from fully using the social network, while in the other group they were forbidden to take part in commenting.
As a result, it turned out that the impossibility of virtual communication (both full and limited) lowers a person's self-esteem.
Researchers also noted that the use of social networks is mostly discontinued by people of mature age. Also, the reason for refusing virtual communication is the frequent family scandals. Scientists note that Internet communication distances formerly close people from each other, in addition, the virtual acquaintance that has begun can turn into a very real adultery.
However, some experts note that people can not completely abandon virtual communication, leaving one virtual network, a person goes into a new one (for example, from Facebook to Twitter, from Twitter to the Instagram, etc.). With time, people can say less and less to the world, they are looking for ways of communication easier. In the beginning, a few sentences, then just a picture.
Experts suggest that a complete rejection of virtual communication is impossible, because social networks cause the same psychological dependence as alcohol or drugs and most people are not able to get rid of Internet addiction on their own.
