Medicines from the state of Michigan (USA) reported that grapes are not only a tasty and nutritious fruit, but also an excellent tool for restoring metabolism and preventing cardiovascular diseases. Some scientists are sure that even grape diabetes can be prevented with the help of grapes. Representatives of the US Department of Health found that grapes are an indispensable product for those people who suffer from poor health due to metabolic syndrome, weakness or for those who care about their health.
Metabolism (metabolism) - a set of chemical reactions that occur in any living organism and guarantee the maintenance of life. These reactions allow organisms to multiply, grow, interact with the environment. In the human body, metabolism occurs between the intercellular substance and the cells themselves. The most important role in the metabolic process is played by enzymes (biological catalysts) that can reduce energy in chemical reactions and regulate metabolism in accordance with the environment.
Metabolic syndrome - a violation of carbohydrate and fat metabolism, a significant decrease in sensitivity to such a substance as insulin, an increase in the total fat mass. Due to the metabolic syndrome in the body, the level of glucose rises (due to insulin resistance). Specialists reported that grapes contain a large amount of polyphenol, which is considered a health-promoting component. Polyphenols are vegetable natural antioxidants, which have a positive effect on the condition and health of the body.
In Michigan, in order to confirm the benefits of grapes, a number of experiments were conducted on small rodents. Experimental animals had a tendency to such a widespread disease to date as obesity. The result of the experiment showed that in animals that used grapes, the percentage of fat decreased significantly.
Some time ago, the so-called "American diet" was popular, one of the main ingredients of which the compilers indicated grapes. The meaning of the diet was that a person, eating a large number of useful fruits a day, got rid of excess fat in the internal organs (liver, kidneys, heart).
For several months, small rodents were fed grape seeds in the form of powder and grape juice. After the end of the experiment, the specialists made certain conclusions that a diet with a large amount of grapes and derivatives (juice, raisins), positively affects the condition of internal organs. For three months in animals that suffered from obesity, the amount of fat in the abdominal cavity decreased significantly. In addition, grapes have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which helps to rid the body of radionuclides. The use of grapes will help to protect the body from the occurrence of metabolic syndrome, high blood sugar and the accompanying diabetes mellitus.
