Of course, there will be no alcoholic beverages. On the eve of holidays, the media usually trumpet about the dangers of alcohol and urge to refrain from eating. For many, the good news is that according to research conducted in 2012, American scientists have determined that moderate consumption of alcohol has a more positive effect on the human body.

One of the reasons to consider the influence of alcohol as favorable and even useful is the results of tests conducted at the University of Illinois. Employees of the educational institution conducted IQ testing among representatives of the local population. After the analysis of the results, it was easy to determine that people who on the day of testing used light alcohol (0.5 - 1 liter of light beer), a greater number of correct answers. In this case, the influence of alcohol is obvious: people who drank beer, realized an order of magnitude faster.

Adherents of a healthy diet and nutritionists usually do not recommend drinking alcohol to people who are struggling for weight loss, on the grounds that alcohol slows the metabolism and has an undesirable effect on attempts to lose weight. In fact, ladies who care about a slender figure, can breathe freely and do not limit themselves during the holidays. Studies have shown that semi-dry red wine in combination with light snacks contributes to the rapid consumption of calories. The positive effect of alcohol is also that women who drink one or two glasses of red or rose wine a day are less likely to gain extra pounds than principled teetotalers.

Scientists also noticed that alcohol can prevent the occurrence of some infectious diseases or complications after ARI. Substances that contain beer hops, for example, will stop pneumonia or sore throat. If you like to take sunbaths, then the use of alcohol here will be somewhat useful: people who drink wine are less likely to burn in the sun and suffer from ultraviolet rays.

Alcohol has a positive effect on life expectancy. People who throughout their lives daily use a small amount of natural alcoholic beverages, often can boast of good health. No wonder the French from the cradle give the children a diluted grape wine.

But do not relax: in spite of all the benefits of alcoholic beverages, everything needs to know the extent. If you use a glass of wine over dinner, the influence of alcohol will be more than favorable, but if you notice an unhealthy passion for alcohol, you should slow down. The immense use of alcohol carries a destructive and irreparable effect, affecting the nervous system, internal organs and disturbing the thought processes in the body. Pay attention to the composition of the drink that you use: grape or apple wine is a natural product rich in nutrients, while sweet liqueurs are a cocktail of dyes, preservatives and ethyl alcohol. If you like beer, stop choosing on live varieties that have a shelf life of several days. If you prefer strong drinks, choose herbal tinctures that promote good digestion during the feast.
