Scientists from the University of Canterbury, who is in New Zealand, found that sex ranks first in the list of human joys .
Scientists have set out to find out what makes a person happy and brings the most pleasure.
On the second place after amusing pleasures all kinds of parties and the use of alcohol have settled down. At the very bottom of the scale of joys and pleasures, social networking and household chores are located.
To create a map that would help assess the everyday events of human life, bringing more or less satisfaction, scientists used text messages.
As it turned out, sex leads by all the criteria that were used for evaluation: pleasure, involvement and significance. And the fun with drinking alcoholic beverages, although it turned out to be in second place from the point of view of obtaining pleasure, but in importance it still took only the tenth place.
The research leader Karsten Grimm says that the reason for this unusual study is the concentration and even some obsession with life satisfaction. On this issue are concentrated both the government of states around the world, and the mass media. Everywhere there are discussions on the topic of well-being and happiness, but as it turned out after the research, the very happiness is a much more complex and ambiguous question than it was generally thought.
According to the authors of the study, the results they obtained are of great importance for psychology, and also help to take a deeper look at the concept of "full-fledged life".
So, we present the full rating of the greatest and the least pleasures.
As we have already noted, sex is the leader in the list of pleasures, followed by alcohol, then religion (in particular meditation), care and pastime with children, listening to music, talking with friends, hobbies, hobbies, shopping and games.
