70% of single women practice unprotected sex. This is the cause of a sharp outbreak of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
The outbreak of STDs is observed in most European countries, including Russia. The British portal DrFox.co.uk conducted a survey of 2,000 women aged 18 to 40 to find out some of the characteristics of their sex life. It turned out that 70% of respondents regularly engaged in unprotected sex. Their attitude towards the threat of STDs was defined by the motto "maybe will carry by".
On average, a single woman enters into unprotected sexual intercourse 11 times with four different men. 20% of respondents in this issue fully trust their partners who claim to be healthy. Sadly, as many as 18% confessed: at the time of sex, they were too drunk to take advantage of any contraception. Another 8% do not like to feel condoms in themselves.
"Unprotected sex during holidays is especially worrying, because more and more women make love with men who do not use condoms," says Dr Tony Steele, consultant to DrFox.co.uk portal. "In holidays there are resort romances, that is, intimate relationships with strangers "Women, most likely, do not know anything about their partners at all.In these circumstances, unprotected sex is like playing Russian roulette, because it can result in HIV infection or hepatitis!"
It is said that wisdom comes with age. But 10% of women over 30 still consider it embarrassing to discuss with partners the issue of protection during sexual intercourse. It is in the age group of 30 to 40 above all that the risk of catching an STD. In girls from 18 to 29 he is much lower, oddly enough.
