Two studies have shown that smokers who come to a cigarette immediately after the morning rises, more than others, risk becoming victims of lung, head or neck cancer.

Joshua Muscat from the College of Medicine in Pennsylvania and his colleagues examined 4,775 patients with lung cancer and a control group of 2,835 people. All subjects were heavy smokers. Those who received a portion of nicotine 31-60 minutes after recovery, lung cancer was diagnosed 1.31 times more often than amateurs are poisoned with carcinogenic smoke an hour after waking up.

But the greatest risk was suffered by tobacco smokers, who fell to the cigarette within half an hour after the ascent. These risked 1.79 times stronger than other smokers.

The second study was conducted with 1,055 patients with cancer tumors on the head and neck and a control group of 795 people (all subjects had a smoking experience). In comparison with those who puffed an hour after getting up from bed, the first cigarette smoking a cigarette after 31-60 minutes risked getting 1.42 times more; those who took a cigarette less than half an hour after sleep, became oncological 1.59 times more often.

Conclusions clearly demonstrate how harmful smoking is in the early morning. People who smoke, barely open their eyes, have a higher level of nicotine and other tobacco toxins in the body. In addition, they can be more nicotine-dependent than those who remember cigarettes at least half an hour after the ascent. According to scientists, a combination of genetic and personal factors can be responsible for the high dependence on smoking.

By the way, for the first time about the dangers of smoking before breakfast, experts from Pennsylvania said in 2009. Then they concluded on the results of a study of 252 healthy volunteers.
