The recent work of genetic scientists from China has shocked virtually the entire global medical community. Specialists in the field of genetics from the PRC stated that they have already started experimental work in the field of the human genotype. The main task of this work is to change the DNA of a future child, i.e. Even at the level of embryonic development. Chinese specialists named their project "Designer Children". Intervention of this kind in human nature is equated with cloning and work in this area is banned in almost all countries.

Thanks to the project "Designer Children", future parents will be able to independently select genes in the DNA chain and create their own unborn child. Such a selection of genes will make it possible to form the child's external data, his health, habits, abilities, etc.

Chinese experts note that such an approach to the birth of the future man will prevent the development of various hereditary diseases, as genetic changes will be preserved and transmitted to future generations.

The idea, which Chinese experts intend to implement, has already been voiced by scientists from other countries, however, for ethical reasons it was rejected, and work in this direction is prohibited.

If you look at the other side, then the idea of "forming" a future person is not so bad. Thanks to the artificial alignment of the DNA chain from certain genes, one can get rid of diseases transmitted by inheritance, since the organism of the "designer" child will be completely deprived of a predisposition to them, in addition, the offspring of such a child will also not be predisposed to hereditary diseases that their ancestors suffered .

Despite this, in some countries experiments in this direction have been banned, since the world scientific community has considered that such interference in the nature of a person can provoke serious problems of an ethical nature.

In many countries of the world such experiments on human embryos are prohibited at the legislative level, however, in the United States of America and the PRC, such work is completely legalized.

In its time, such a proposal of scientists has already caused numerous controversies and discussions in the scientific community. The world scientific community had an ambiguous reaction to this news, some experts supported the idea of creating a man in this way, others were categorically against such experiments on people.

Similar statements by scientists that they can make changes to the human embryo remind us of the theory of improvement of the human genus (eugenics), but at the same time experiments in this area are reminiscent of the experiments that were conducted in Nazi Germany, when German specialists tried to create a "superman" ". In turn, Chinese geneticists noted that their work can not be regarded as something similar, they stressed that their research seeks to find methods for getting rid of various hereditary diseases that can be treated at the level of embryonic development.
