How can you get infected?

Most people contract the herpes virus type 1 in childhood. It is transmitted by airborne droplets or direct contact. It reveals its presence through periodic rashes in the form of blisters around the mouth. The herpes virus type 2 also manifests itself, only on the genitals and is transmitted through unprotected sexual contact (genital, oral or sexual). Infection can also occur through blood transfusions, using someone else's dishes or underwear.

The herpes virus is instantly activated if it senses a decrease in the body's defenses. While a person is healthy and full of energy, the virus peacefully rests inside the nerve fibers, which serve as reliable protection against external factors.

Herpes treatment

Herpesvirus infection is highly contagious because it is volatile and also resistant to traditional treatment methods. It can stay in the body for a long time, and sometimes settle there forever. In addition to the infection coming out and ruining our mood, it can lead to serious consequences - lead to the development of cervical cancer, damage to the brain and nervous system, and even birth defects in children.

Herpes treatment at home

To get rid of the rash, use camphor, fir oil and tea tree oil. Lubricate the sore spot three times a day. You can also apply a cut clove of garlic to the rash, or rather even rub it so that the juice soaks the skin. However, no matter how good folk remedies are, it is better to seek help from a specialist.

Nutrition

In the fight against infection, a good assistant will be a balanced, healthy diet, which will help strengthen the immune system. Products containing microelements, vitamin C, vitamin E and vitamin A, as well as zinc, delay the development of the herpes virus type 1.
