Ukrainians can freely buy "Designer Happiness" or homemade drugs

Recently, the Ukrainian market has been flooded with "constructor" drugs. The drugs on sale are not fully ready for use, but individual components, from which, as a result of a chemical reaction, several doses of a dangerous drug are obtained. Experts are speechless - strong psychotropic substances can be bought freely and safely. The State Service for Control of Narcotic Substances is currently developing a plan to combat this type of sales.
Sergey Tammi, head of the rehabilitation center for drug addicts "Revival of Life", said that the sets of chemical components for making drugs are called "Happiness Constructors", they are mainly bought by drug dealers to then resell in small retail. Usually 10-15 grams of parts allow you to make a much larger amount of drugs. After the drug is prepared, it is packaged in small bags and sold on the Internet. The components that are part of the "Happiness Constructor" are not prohibited, and pass customs control without any special claims. A video disc is sold together with the constructor, on which you can clearly see how to prepare drugs.
Advertising of such a constructor on the Internet is not widespread, sellers are extremely careful. But there are special forums for fans of "spice" (narcotic smoking mixture), where you can find such a "seller of happiness". From a set of chemicals, to which no questions will arise at any border, you can prepare a mixture in just one hour, the yield of the pure product is one to one. In finished form, it looks like a gray-white briquette, crystalline structure. 10 grams of the constructor will cost 500 UAH. If you buy ready-made packaged "spice", you will get 100 UAH per gram. You can use such a mixture in any way - smoke, sniff, inject. According to sellers, in effect, such a drug is similar to ecstasy and amphetamine, has virtually no side effects, is not addictive.
But narcologists have a completely opposite opinion on this matter. Even taking into account the fact that the drug obtained after assembling the "constructor" is not registered in the drug registry, it causes persistent addiction. The drug obtained in the process of a chemical reaction is a very strong synthetic psychotropic drug. Its effect on the human psyche can be compared to the effect of LSD. Under the influence of such a narcotic substance, a person becomes completely inadequate, he begins to hallucinate. No drug addict can know the exact dosage of the drug, so death from an overdose is quite likely. Even doctors cannot know the exact effect and consequences of taking such a drug, since these substances have not been subjected to laboratory tests.
The State Service for Control of Narcotic Substances admitted that this problem appeared not so long ago. The service assumes that this type of sending "constructors" is most likely a new type of contraband. This scheme became known to the State Service recently and now experts are thinking about how to control this process.
However, there is good news in all this – among Ukrainian youth, “using” is not fashionable now, and young people prefer a healthy lifestyle.
