A two-week ecological expedition to test water quality will begin in Ukraine in July.
According to the representative of the company - the initiator of the project, the marketing director of TM "Barrier" Andrey Voynov, the interactive project "In Search of Clean Water" will be held in Ukraine for the first time.
A. Voynov said that the participants of the ecological expedition will travel around Ukraine in SUVs with mobile laboratories for two weeks. With the help of these mobile laboratories, they will test water from natural reservoirs and city water supply systems, on the basis of which a "Water Map of Ukraine" will be compiled.
Special attention is planned to be paid to samples in the Chernobyl area. In total, the route will be 5 thousand km.
As A. Voynov noted, anyone can join the crews. To participate, you need to submit an application. 12 volunteers will be selected.
A. Voynov reported that each crew will be accompanied by an operator, and the progress of the project will be monitored in real time by all of Ukraine.
Writer and singer Irena Karpa has already confirmed her participation in the expedition.
The project also includes competitions for off-road vehicle crews and social events in the regions of Ukraine along the expedition route.
As noted by the director of the project partner - the Ukrainian Philanthropy Exchange Pavlo Novikov, within the framework of the project, its participants, in particular, will clean the Koshevaya River in Kherson, and in the Ivano-Frankivsk region will take part in the arrangement of a shelter for underage pregnant girls.
