9-year-old girl Holly Lindley suffers from a rare disease called glycogenosis and to survive, she is forced to consume milk in lethal doses - three liters daily. This disease does not allow the body to digest food and convert it into energy.
Unfortunately, this illness can not be cured, therefore, in order to prevent a coma that a girl can fall into, she must consume cold milk in combination with five tablespoons of cornstarch. This drink, she drinks before bed, and during the night, starch slowly releases energy.
This disease is very rare - an average of one person to three million. The diagnosis of "glycogenosis" Holly was put in two years. Doctors from the medical center "Doncaster Royal Infirmary" found that the amount of blood in a girl falls sharply to a critical level. This led them to the idea that Holly is sick with a rare disease. She got to the hospital after she lost consciousness.
Mom girl Karen Shaw spent almost 2,000 pounds on milk.
