The fact that sugar in large quantities is harmful to human health has been known for a long time. However, in the course of recent research, scientists have established that sugar should be placed first in the list of the most harmful products, as its use provokes dangerous diseases and leads to pathological changes in the body.
As the researchers established, a person should refuse not only confectionery products, but also many other products (white rice, salads and dried fruits). Studies have shown that all these products contain sugar in huge quantities, which makes them extremely harmful to health. The use of these products, according to experts, has a toxic effect on the human body.
For decades, it was believed that saturated fat is the greatest threat to health. Now scientists agree in the common opinion that sugar can damage health much more. At present, there is a sufficient number of studies that have been carried out by different specialists and they all converge to one thing: in all human diseases, it is sugar, as well as all sugar-containing products, that are to blame. Sugar leads to such diseases as diabetes, inflammatory processes, Alzheimer's disease, diseases of the cardiovascular system. In addition, scientists associate many cancers with sugar consumption.
By the way, the constant use of sugar leads to the appearance of some dependence in humans. However, it is almost impossible to completely abandon sugar, since it is present in many products to improve taste. Producers use sugar almost everywhere: in soups, dressings for salads, flour products, sauces, white rice. Due to the fact that the body regularly receives sugar, the arteries are clogged with triglycerides, which increases the risk of a heart attack. In response to sugar, the body produces insulin, which develops cell resistance. Over time, sugar spreads throughout the body, resulting in cells and tissues exposed to premature aging and damage. The more the body produces insulin, the more significant the subcutaneous fat deposits. The fact that sugar is a bad enough product is obvious, so experts recommend using all possible ways to reduce sugar consumption. For example, instead of white rice, it is better to use brown rice, as well as eat as little as possible starchy vegetables (corn, potatoes), fruits in which there is an excess of natural sugar (pineapples, bananas, watermelons). It is also worth giving up sugary carbonated drinks, fruit juices. It is necessary to include in your diet more different fresh berries, apples. It is worth remembering that artificial sweeteners, sugar substitutes represent almost the same harm to health as ordinary sugar. Sweeteners lead to the fact that the body learns to absorb more sugar, while producing insulin, and sugar turns fat and is deposited under the skin.
