The fact that a cup of strong coffee saves from a hangover is known to every adult who has at least once had to deal with the consequences of drinking alcoholic beverages. Recent studies by Scandinavian scientists have confirmed a very widespread opinion in society: coffee really can bring a person to his senses and remove the symptoms of a hangover.

Experts from Finland have managed to establish that strong coffee actually has an invigorating and restorative effect on a weakened human body. However, to achieve the desired effect, an adult will need to drink at least 4-5 cups of strong drink. Doctors reported that to eliminate a hangover, an adult needs to drink at least 4-5 cups of strong coffee throughout the day. According to experts, this is the amount of drink needed to improve the general condition of the body, avoid alcohol intoxication and perk up. In addition, some scientists believe that coffee can improve your appearance after a party: just one cup of the drink will remove bags under the eyes, bruises, and restore vigor and a clear look.

Experts from the University of Tampere (Finland) reported that if a person regularly receives a sufficient dose of caffeine, then the ability to eliminate alcohol toxins from the body increases significantly. In that case. If an adult drinks about 4-5 cups of strong fresh coffee throughout the day, the amount of damaging internal organs of the digestive system decreases. Substances contained in coffee are able to destroy enzymes harmful to the body, damaging first the liver and pancreas, and later - causing diseases of the cardiovascular system. Coffee has a special effect on the male body.

Medicine knows that after drinking a large amount of alcoholic beverages, the GGT enzyme is formed in the human body, which can cause dangerous diseases of the internal organs, digestive and cardiovascular systems. When the amount of alcohol in the human body exceeds the norm, the above-mentioned enzyme, which has a destructive effect, begins to be released in the absorbent and secretory organs (liver, kidneys). Those people who suffer from chronic diseases of the digestive system are considered to be most susceptible to the harmful effects of the enzyme. If a person has problems with the kidneys or pancreas, the concentration of the GGT enzyme increases significantly.

Over the course of several months, doctors from Finland examined and interviewed more than 19,000 adults. The study showed that strong coffee significantly reduces the level of the GGT enzyme. The participants in the experiment reported to doctors the amount of alcohol and coffee they consumed, their GGT levels were measured, and general blood tests were taken. Analysis of the data obtained confirmed the fact that frequent consumption of alcoholic beverages (for example, 4 bottles of wine per week) causes an increase in the level of the GGT enzyme in the body. Strong coffee can have the opposite effect: drinking 4-5 cups of strong drink can bring the level unsafe for the body back to normal.
