Athletes train their muscles all their lives for records, but it is necessary for health.

"He who gives up physical exercise often wastes away, because the strength of his organs weakens due to the refusal to move." These words of the medieval scientist and physician Ibn Sina best illustrate the health situation of athletes - both those who have left big-time sports and those who are still active.

The biggest threat to health is not so much heavy loads as trauma. After an injury, a person can remain motionless for a long time, which leads to circulatory disorders, decreased ventilation of the lungs, weakness, and even muscle atrophy. Timely post-traumatic rehabilitation is needed to help quickly regain shape and return to sports without losses.

Sports of the 21st century: winning without injuries and fatigue

- An injury is not a death sentence, - says neurologist, who developed the world-renowned method of kinesitherapy - "treatment with correct movement" Professor Sergei Bubnovsky. - I have been working with athletes for a long time. For twenty years they exhaust the body's resources, and after leaving the sport, they begin to suffer from pain in various areas of the body. And all because certain of their muscles are trained for records, and others are not developed properly. Sometimes I see gymnasts with a luxurious figure, a beautiful body, but with great weakness in some muscles. Their trainers know special exercises very well, but do not teach them to control deep muscles, which causes muscle imbalance. I took on targeted assistance to athletes.

Doctor Bubnovsky visits Kyiv once a quarter. Firstly, he regularly holds seminars for doctors and patients, visiting his centers. There are more than 60 of them in the world (three in Kyiv - on Artema, Mostitskaya and Kharkovskoye Shosse streets). And secondly, he believes that in our time of general detraining and a sedentary lifestyle, active propaganda of correct movement is needed. Sergey Bubnovsky places not drugs, corsets and prohibitions on movement at the center of his system of alternative neurology and orthopedics, but the internal reserves of the body, understanding of your body. Among the doctor's discoveries is movement inside and outside the joint, which official medicine has not thought about. He sings a hymn to the muscles that we have forgotten, for which we pay with our health and poisoning the body with drugs. Sergey Bubnovsky believes that it is necessary to work with athletes differently: after active training, begin unloading sets of exercises on Bubnovsky's multifunctional training machines (MTB) with decompression and antigravity functions. This is what his books are about: "Healthy Vessels, or Why Do People Need Muscles?", "Knees Hurt. What Should You Do?", "Osteochondrosis Is Not a Death Sentence", "Headaches, or Why Do People Need Shoulders?"

Ukrainian athletes are also ready to undergo a rehabilitation program at the Bubnovsky Center: absolute Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics Ekaterina Serebryanskaya, Olympic champion in shooting Elena Kostevich, world champion in judo Georgy Zantaraya, two-time world champion in modern pentathlon Victoria Tereshchuk and swimmer who set a Ukrainian record at the London Olympics, Sergey Frolov.

Sports of the 21st century: winning without injuries and fatigue

- I train the Russian national teams in freestyle wrestling and wushu. The guys there are just acrobats, jumpers, fighters. And the muscles are stretched, and they run almost on the ceiling, but they came with injuries, - said Sergey Mikhailovich. - Thanks to kinesitherapy, the athletes have no more injuries, and Tarasov even became an Olympic champion. Now I will also have a track and field team...

-...already two teams, - adds Ekaterina Serebryanskaya, referring to their beginning cooperation.

“I hope so,” the doctor laughs.

The founder of the "Studio Serebryanskikh", Olympic champion Ekaterina Serebryanskaya has been running a website about healthy lifestyle for a long time, and her project "Morning exercises for schoolchildren", which her friend Serebryanka does with the children, has given good results in two years. "Alternative physical education at school" by Dr. Bubnovsky is even better: children even got rid of scoliosis. Now the specialists have decided to join forces to help children and athletes.
