Athletes spend their entire lives training muscles for records, and it is necessary - for health.
"He who threw himself into physical exercises often withers, for the strength of his organs is weakened by the rejection of movements." These words of the medieval scientist and doctor Ibn Sina perfectly illustrate the health situation of athletes - both those who left the big sport and those who acted.
The biggest threat to health is not so much heavy loads, as injuries. After trauma, a person can be without movement for a long time, which leads to a violation of blood circulation, a decrease in ventilation, weakness, and even muscle atrophy. We need a timely post-traumatic rehabilitation, which helps to quickly restore the form and without loss return to the sport.
"Injury is not a verdict," says the neurologist, who developed the internationally recognized method of kinesitherapy - "treatment with the right movement," Professor Sergei Bubnovsky. - I have been working with athletes for a long time. Twenty years they exhaust the resources of the body, and out of the sport, begin to suffer from pain in various areas of the body. And all because certain of their muscles are trained for records, while others are not developed properly. Sometimes I see a gymnast with a luxurious figure, a beautiful body, but with great weakness in some muscles. Their trainers know very well the special exercises, but they do not teach to control the deep muscles, which causes muscle imbalance. I took up the purposeful help to the athletes.
Doctor Bubnovsky is in Kiev once a quarter. First, he regularly conducts seminars for doctors and patients, circling their centers. There are more than 60 of them in the world (in Kiev there are three - on the streets of Artem, Mostitskaya and Kharkov Highways). And secondly, he believes that in our time of general detuning and a sedentary lifestyle, active propaganda of the right movement is needed. Sergei Bubnovsky at the center of his system of alternative neurology and orthopedics does not put drugs, corsets and bans on movement, but internal reserves of the body, understanding his body. Among the discoveries of the doctor - movement inside the joint and outside the joint, about which the official medicine was not conceived. He sings a hymn to the muscles, which we forgot about, for which we pay with health and poisoning the body with medicines. Sergei Bubnovsky believes that with athletes it is necessary to work differently: after active training, start unloading exercises on multifunctional simulators Bubnovsky (MTB) with the functions of decompression and antigravitation. About this and his book: "Healthy Vessels, or Why Should a Man Have Muscles?", "My knees ache, What should I do?", "Osteochondrosis is not a sentence," "Headaches, or Why should a man have shoulders?".
We are ready to undergo a rehabilitation program in the center of Bubnovsky and Ukrainian sportsmen: the absolute Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics Ekaterina Serebryanskaya, the Olympic champion in shooting, Elena Kostevich, the world champion in judo Georgy Zantaraya, the two-time world champion in modern pentathlon Victoria Tereshchuk and the swimmer who set the Ukrainian record for Olympics in London, Sergei Frolov.
- I have Russian national wrestling, wushu. There guys - just acrobats, jumpers, fighters. And the muscles are stretched, and they run almost on the ceiling, but they came with injuries, "said Sergey Mikhailovich. - Thanks to kinesitherapy, athletes have lost their traumatism, and Tarasov even became an Olympic champion. Now I will have an athletics team ...
"... There are already two teams," adds Ekaterina Serebryanskaya, referring to their cooperation.
"I hope so," the doctor laughs.
The founder of the "Serebryansky Studio", the Olympic champion Ekaterina Serebryanskaya has been leading a healthy lifestyle website for a long time, and her project "Morning exercises for schoolchildren", which the friend Seryozhka deals with, has yielded good results for two years. "Alternative physical education in the school" Dr. Bubnovsky - even the ray: the children even got rid of scoliosis. Now the specialists decided to join forces to help children and sportsmen.
