In his report, the charitable organization Save the Children reported that the mothers in Scandinavian countries could feel safe.
The most favorable conditions for childbirth were created in Norway (first place). The second place was taken by Australia and Iceland. Then come Sweden, Denmark and Finland. The United States took only 31 place.

The worst situation, experts say Save the Children, with maternity is observed on the African continent (8 countries out of the top 10 worst ranking countries). Here, about 2 million newborns die on the first day after birth each year. The main causes of high infant mortality are infections, prematurity and complications during childbirth. In these countries, one in six children dies before a five-day period after birth. Almost 50% of the population does not have access to quality water.
Closes the rating of Afghanistan (164th place). Comparing the states of the first and last ten of the rating, in the most disadvantaged countries the future mother has a 25 times greater risk of rubbing the child and a 500 times greater risk of dying herself during labor or throughout pregnancy.
