"A man in a position" today this sentence may seem ridiculous, but scientists have reported that in the coming years men will be able to get pregnant and give birth to children on an equal basis with women. Specialists from the USA have stated that they are almost ready for an operation to transplant women's reproductive organs to men so that they can conceive and give birth to a baby.
Once upon a time, the great joker Charlie Chaplin bequeathed a million dollars to the first man who could give birth to a child, but until the last moment no one could even imagine that this could actually happen.
Experts noted that successful operations to transplant the uterus to women are being carried out today, and it is quite possible that the same operation can be done to a man. As scientists stated, men have all the potential to bear and give birth to a child, and researchers will be able to transplant the uterus into a man's body in about 10 years. In addition to the uterus, an artificial vagina will be required, through which a direct connection with the uterus will be carried out.
It is worth noting that it is quite difficult to deceive nature, since the female body is maximally adapted to conception, bearing and birth of a child. Women have a different pelvic shape, in addition, the lymphatic and circulatory systems are connected to the uterus. For a man, to bear and give birth to a child, it is not enough to simply transplant the uterus; it will be necessary to establish the peripheral system. But in addition to physiology, there are other problems. First of all, there is a high probability that the male body will begin to reject the fertilized egg. In this situation, scientists offer special drugs against rejection. Also, during pregnancy, women's hormonal levels change significantly - here, according to scientists, hormonal drugs will help, which will correct the level of female and male sex hormones in the body.
In principle, the essence of the idea and the plan for completing the task are clear, one thing remains unclear - why is this necessary? Every scientist dreams of being the first to perform such an operation, but who will be the first volunteer who consciously wants to carry and give birth to a child remains unknown.
Why is it necessary to transplant a uterus into a man if everything is distributed in nature and the female body is maximally adapted to pregnancy and childbirth? It can be assumed that such an operation will enjoy some success among homosexuals or transgenders, however, in most countries this category of people is prohibited from having children, since it is possible that upbringing in a same-sex family can affect the fragile child's psyche. But in the USA, freedom reaches the point of absurdity, and almost everyone can have children. For example, Hawaiian Thomas Beatie was able to bear and give birth to three children, and he did not need any operation to transplant a uterus - he had one by nature. Thomas was born a girl who, already in adulthood, decided to change her gender. After the operation and hormone therapy, the pretty girl turned into a hairy man named Thomas Beatie.
Thomas was inspired to have a child because his wife could not give birth for some reason, and he remembered that he still had female organs inside him, but in order for Thomas to get pregnant, he had to stop taking male hormones, but this was not a big problem. According to Thomas, feeling how life grows and moves inside is the most beautiful feeling.
But Thomas's example is not worthy, because he was a man only according to his new passport; despite all the external changes, Thomas remained a woman inside.
Some experts believe that it will not be so easy for those who were originally born in a man's body to bear and give birth to a child, but they do not exclude the fact that a man has already been born on planet Earth who is destined to do the impossible and "try on" the role of a pregnant man in the near future.
