Asian scientists have confirmed the fact that polluted air can cause deadly oncological diseases of the respiratory tract. Recent studies have once again proved the negative impact of dust and air, which we breathe every day.
Specialists from the University of Azerbaijan focus on the fact that in developed countries there are problems associated with air pollution. The atmosphere is polluted by exhaust gases with all sorts of chemicals that can not only bring discomfort, but also cause cancer. Experts are sure that to improve the situation it is necessary to improve the ecological situation in countries where there are increased numbers of patients.
The medical journal "Environmental Research Letter" reports that US scientists have reported new statistics on the annual mortality associated with environmental problems in the world. Experts from the United States have proven that more than two and a half million annual deaths are associated with air pollution and diseases related to the environmental problem in the world. More than two million adults die annually from lung cancer or other, no less dangerous, respiratory diseases caused by finely dispersed particles in polluted air.
About 400,000 people die of rapidly developing bronchial asthma every year (the destruction of the ozone layer can adversely affect the airways and contribute to the onset of asthma attacks). Employees of the University of North Carolina (USA) reported that according to statistics, the largest number of air-related deaths are observed in Asian countries. The size of the population, the huge amount of emissions into the atmosphere affect the eco- logical situation in Asian countries. Not too significant and dangerous scientists believe climate change, which in recent years has been noticed due to the development of industry. Diseases of the respiratory tract begin, mainly, because of small particles that get from the polluted air into the lung tissue.
British scientists recently reported that polluted air can cause not only respiratory diseases, but also cause diseases of the cardiovascular system. The British reported that they live in countries. Where highly developed industrial activity, several times increases the chance of dying from heart failure. Another study, sponsored by specialists from foggy Albion, has proved that the ecological situation in the EU countries reduces the life expectancy by several years. In China and Japan, life expectancy for the past 25 years has decreased by 2.5-5%, and experts associate changes only with the environmental situation.
Unfortunately, at the moment experts are unable to offer a real solution to the current situation. Atmospheric pollution is one of the most acute problems of the modern world, but it can be solved only by changing the technology of production and use of vehicles.
