Global warming issues are currently of concern to almost all scientists. The greenhouse effect and rapid melting of glaciers irreversibly lead to significant climate changes, which have already been felt by South Africans who suffer from constant drought and lack of drinking water. But climate change is also noticeable in other regions. Some experts believe that this year, 2014, humanity will experience the hottest summer in the history of human development.

Experts from the United States recently conducted a series of studies in which they examined the Western Antarctic Shield and came to the conclusion that humanity has already passed the point of no return and now the processes of climate change can no longer be avoided. According to scientists, in the future, glaciers will continue to melt and nothing will be able to resist this process, neither the latest innovations, nor attempts by scientists to stabilize the situation.

Experts believe that the greenhouse effect is the main reason for the melting of glaciers. Due to the rising sea level, some countries will soon be at risk of flooding, and in this case, much depends on local leaders, who must develop a number of measures so that residents of problematic regions do not suffer.

High temperatures have been recorded in many countries today, suggesting that this year's summer will indeed be a record hot one. The regions most affected by the extreme weather events will be those that often experience droughts. However, Europe will also see climate change, as scientists expect the heat to hit early in the summer rather than in the middle, and temperatures will not drop for three to four months.

But in any case, scientists warn that every region must be prepared for record-breaking climate change, since the changes will affect absolutely every corner of the earth.

The world ocean level rises every year, the largest glaciers continue to melt, and scientists are now more concerned about the density and relief of glaciers, rather than their height, as before. Today, global warming can no longer be called a myth.

High temperatures that are recorded in the modern world are already considered to be completely normal natural phenomena, and scientists are now discussing the possible consequences and ways to overcome the problems that may arise in the path of humanity.

As mentioned above, experts have studied the process of the West Antarctic Shield's disintegration and have come to the conclusion that it can no longer be considered stable, and there is also the problem of greenhouse gases, which significantly affects the Earth's climate.

In modern conditions, each person must independently draw conclusions regarding future climate-related problems. All the conclusions made by the scientific community may become a signal for many citizens to change their own habits and lifestyle in order to minimize the harm caused to the environment. Every day there is less and less time left and it is necessary to act today.
