American ice cream manufacturers will soon surprise the whole world: a recipe for a chilled dessert has been created that can help treat flu and other infectious colds. The owner of the manufacturing company does not promise that such ice cream will be prescribed by doctors, but he assures that the dessert can give odds to many folk remedies that are so popular today. The manufacturers are also confident that such ice cream will be extremely popular with parents of small children who are difficult to persuade to take bitter medicines. Every child will like this sweet treat.

The ingredients of the wonderful ice cream actually have healing properties: flower honey, fresh ginger, citrus juice, a little strong alcohol (cognac, whiskey, bourbon) are capable of, if not completely curing an infectious disease, then at least bringing some relief. The idea to develop ice cream that could ease the suffering of flu patients arose back in 2004, during the bird flu epidemic. The owner of the development company, who is the author of the idea, says that he was inspired to create such a dessert by folk remedies that were popular in his childhood. At that time, a recipe for a drink made from whiskey, honey and lemon juice was widespread, which every family prepared during the cold season.

In addition to honey, fresh ginger, lemon or lime juice, the composition of the invented delicacy may include hot cayenne pepper from Latin America and a few drops of strong alcoholic drink. Even separately, each of these components can ease the suffering of the patient. Honey is recommended to eliminate redness and irritation in the throat, citrus juices are an invaluable source of vitamin C, which is necessary during colds and decreased immunity, hot red pepper will relieve a runny nose and ease breathing during sleep. The combination of ginger and lemon is considered a preventive measure aimed at colds. The combination of all products is perfectly thought out and designed for a wide audience.

The first to try the new delicacy were the employees of the manufacturing company, and 95% of those who were lucky enough to test the newly invented "medicine" noted the unrivaled taste and unobtrusive aroma of the ice cream. The creators assure that the combination of products can satisfy any gourmet.

Ice cream, of course, cannot be considered a full-fledged medicine and rely only on its effect. The dessert can only be aimed at alleviating the symptoms of infectious diseases, eliminating severe cough and sore throat. A positive effect is also considered to be the fact that the combination of honey and ginger has a calming effect, which should lead to trouble-free and quick falling asleep.

The miracle dessert will go on sale in March 2013 (for now only in the US), but the manufacturer reports that several large retail chains have already received requests for bulk purchases of trial batches of ice cream.
