Macedonia has introduced a visa-free regime for short-term trips for Ukrainian citizens for the period from May 10 to October 31 of this year.

As the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleksandr Dikusarov, told the media, Ukrainians will not have to apply for a visa to enter Macedonia for a short-term stay until October 31.

At the same time, A. Dikusarov drew attention to the fact that Macedonian legislation includes requirements regarding the presence of a health insurance policy for foreigners entering the republic and the necessary amount of money for their stay in the country, calculated at 50 euros per day.

"Citizens of Ukraine who travel to Macedonia by land transport should take care of obtaining multiple-entry visas for transit through the territory of Romania, Bulgaria, or other countries," he said.
