Macedonia has introduced a visa-free regime for short trips of citizens of Ukraine for the period from May 10 to October 31 this year.

As the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Alexander Dikusarov told the media, thus, before October 31, Ukrainians should not issue a visa for entry into Macedonia for a short stay.

At the same time, A.Dikusarov drew attention to the fact that the Macedonian legislation includes requirements regarding the availability of a policy of medical insurance and the amount of money necessary for staying in the country at the rate of 50 euros per day for foreigners who enter the republic.

"Citizens of Ukraine who are traveling to Macedonia by land transport should be concerned about issuing multiple-entry visas for transit crossing the territory of Romania, Bulgaria or other states," he said.
