What is a healthy lifestyle? How to start and how to change to another regime?

It's no secret that a healthy lifestyle is the right regime of the day, a healthy diet, a sound sleep and physical activity. However, in order to make adjustments in your life, you first need to tune in and take the first steps towards health and acquiring good habits.

Week after week, you can develop useful habits and completely rebuild your habitual lifestyle to a healthier one.

Week One

We begin to change your diet and, of course, the diet, if you have it irregular and consists of random snacks.

Try to eat at least three times a day, even when fully loaded at work, do not skip lunch breaks and diversify your sandwich menu with vegetables and fruits if you can not eat normally.

Limit the consumption of floury, fried, too spicy and salty, and also refuse semifinished products.

Drink more water. For each person you need the amount of water individually, and you can calculate the necessary for you according to the formula: 30-35 grams of water per 1 kg of the person's weight.

Second week

Strong sleep is equally important for health, so let the body get a full rest to restore efficiency, stability of the nervous system and normalize vitality. To have a good rest and gain strength, you need at least eight hours of night rest. It is advisable to go to bed at the same time, so it will be easier for the body to adjust its daily rhythms.

Lack of sleep can cause hormonal imbalance, violation of biorhythms and increase the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. If you can not go to bed at the scheduled time, try to lie down 10 minutes earlier each day than the previous one. Gradually you can reach the planned goal.

Week Three

Walk more

Walk more. Try to walk as much as possible and use the elevator as rarely as possible. According to scientists, in an ideal person should take at least 10,000 steps a day. By the way, a good way to watch this is to purchase a pedometer - a device that counts the distance traveled (the number of steps x step length). In any case, the movement is life, so if there is even no possibility to attend sports clubs, do it yourself and do not be lazy to go to work on foot.

The fourth week

The relationship between immunity and stress is already a proven fact. Any stressful situation has a negative impact on human health, both on the mental and on the physical. Therefore, on the way to a healthy lifestyle, the right emotional mood is needed, because anxious states can negate all the human efforts to rebuild their lives. Also, long-term stresses affect the body's ability to withstand infections and viruses that suppress weakened immune activity. There is no universal prescription for this case, however each person can find his own way that will help him to get distracted from problems and not concentrate on minor scrapes.
