Few people know that, in fact, ordinary food can in a sense serve as medicines, and also perform their functions, but only with the only difference that they do absolutely no harm to the body. For example, even the earliest times it is well known that most spices have curative properties.
Recently, experts from the United States have been interviewed about what foods help sleep and fix the quality of sleep. Suppose, one of the famous chefs of Spain believes that there are some types of food that will help a person to fall asleep more quickly and, accordingly, improve sleep.
The palm of the championship belongs to the gifts of the sea. These gifts contain a special substance of tryptophan. Tryptophan is an amino acid that promotes the most active production of serotonin, and it, in turn, is a natural substance that calms a person. Tryptophan in large quantities found in the following foods: fat natural milk and whole grains, nuts and bananas, as well as tofu.
A group of professors from the Center for the Study of Sleep at Harvard University argues that the most effective remedy for insomnia is saffron, which belongs to the type of natural spices. As a proof of his statement, the scientists cite the result of research on laboratory animals.
However, one should always remember that, no matter how those or other food products help to fall asleep, do not overeat them at night. And also to avoid drinking before going to bed alcohol, coffee and strong tea.
