Widely known in the cooking a mixture of curry seasonings, based on the dried root of turmeric, helps to reduce the development of breast cancer. In their studies, scientists have found that curcumin contributes to the desiccation of the tumor by about 1/3, in addition, inhibits the development of pathogenic cells (all experiments were conducted on laboratory mice). Scientists have developed a special implant, made from kari powder, which will help in the treatment of breast cancer in women. In the course of numerous studies, scientists have determined that curcumin possesses excellent anti-cancer properties. However, a person can not eat enough spices to effectively fight cancer, and most spices are digested in the digestive system.

The research team at one of the universities decided to deliver the spice directly to cancer education. Curry powder was placed in small soluble capsules, the length of each capsule was 2 mm and each contained 200 mg of powder.

In the course of laboratory studies, scientists divided the rodents, which were transplanted cancer cells, into two groups. The first group of mice was implanted with two capsules with spices, and the second in the diet added an additional amount of seasonings. For rodents, the researchers observed for four months. As it turned out, the consumption of spices did not affect the development of the tumor, but in the group of rodents with implants, the tumor progressed much less.

Curcumin has long been known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. As scientists suggest, this spice can also block the action of hormones that stimulate the growth of the tumor in the mammary gland. At this stage, experts are finding out whether the introduction of curcumin directly into cancer education will improve the effectiveness of treatment. In addition, the research team is investigating the effect of curcumin on colon cancer. Scientists have reason to believe that this spice can significantly increase the effect of chemotherapy. The results will be known not earlier than next year.

In addition, that curcumin has an anti-cancer effect, scientists suggest that daily eating this seasoning will help in the future to prevent Alzheimer's disease and senile dementia. Specialists from the United States found that people who were added several times a week to their curry diet, the likelihood of developing senile dementia or Alzheimer's decreased significantly. At the heart of curry is a powder from the dried root of turmeric, which has long been known for its good medicinal properties. In addition, turmeric helps prevent the spread of amyloid plaques in the brain, as a result of which dementia develops. In addition, small doses of turmeric are a good preventive for thrombosis and various cardiac pathologies (stroke, myocardial infarction, etc.).

In addition, curcumin promotes fat burning, which makes it a valuable supplement in dietary nutrition.
