Türkiye and Egypt are popular budget travel destinations. Vacations in these countries are often cheaper than trips to domestic resorts. But there are many other countries that are cheaper to visit than you might think.

Among the cheapest exotic destinations, India and Thailand stand out. Most of the budget for a trip to these countries will have to be spent on an air ticket, the vacation itself (accommodation, food, transportation and entertainment) is very cheap.

In Europe, Albania and Macedonia are considered the most budget-friendly countries, where the average cost of accommodation and food is about half the European average. But these tourist destinations are not yet very popular.

A much more attractive destination for tourists is Bulgaria. According to Eurostat, Bulgaria is the cheapest country in the European Union. Cheap flights, budget accommodation and low food prices make it the cheapest beach destination.

The second place in the Eurostat rating is occupied by Romania. Famous for its picturesque nature, rich excursion program and unique medieval architecture, the country attracts more and more tourists from all over the world. The sea coast of Romania has a very favorable climate. The beaches are clean and well-maintained. The local population in Romania and Bulgaria understands Russian speech, which is a big advantage for many tourists.

Those who prefer sightseeing to beach holidays will love the Czech Republic. Ancient buildings, majestic cathedrals, narrow streets of the old town attract tourists from all over the world, and low prices for tourist services are a pleasant bonus of this charming country. The most budget tours to the Czech Republic are bus tours. Within the framework of one tour, you can also see other countries, including Poland and Hungary, which will also please tourists with low prices.

It is better to go on excursion tours in autumn and spring, at this time it is not so hot and crowded, and prices for inexpensive tourist destinations are even lower than in the summer season. You can save on a beach holiday by going on a trip in June and September.
