Some berries can have the same powerful effect on your skin as Botox. And they are a much healthier alternative to injections and scalpels.
If you are thinking about using Botox, do not rush to make an appointment with a plastic surgeon. Why not go to the nearest supermarket or market first. Berries can replace Botox, and tomatoes provide the effect of a daily cream. Many healthy foods have valuable properties that provide a person with beauty and health.
But just remember that healthy food is not a pill that starts working 40 minutes after taking it and stops working after two or three hours. Healthy foods have a long-lasting effect that is achieved only with regular consumption. Moreover, this effect is often preventive, not medicinal. There are also very "harmful" foods.
"Meat, sausages and other animal products accelerate the formation of wrinkles, as they contain arachidonic acid, which is also formed in our body when we absorb omega-6 fatty acids from margarine or sunflower oil," says dermatology professor Michaela Axt-Gadermann from the German University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Coburg. "The same can be said about free radicals that attack the cells of our body. But berries protect the body from the action of free radicals, as they are rich in antioxidants. The darker these berries, the better."
A glass of elderberry juice has the protective potential of 14 glasses of grape juice and 55 (!) glasses of apple juice. 100 grams of spinach is equivalent to 1.9 kg of cucumbers, and broccoli has a simply medicinal effect on the body due to its high content of vitamin B. Carotenoids in tomatoes not only slow down the aging process of the skin, but also protect from the sun.
