As a result of numerous inspections by the State Sanitary Authorities, the capital's beaches "Molodezhny", "Telbin", "Raduga" and "Venice" received sanitary passports. This was stated by the general director of the municipal enterprise "Pleso" Pavlo Pokhodiy, the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration reports.
Thus, this year, residents and guests of the city had the opportunity to celebrate the capital's birthday on five Kyiv beaches. Vacationers can enjoy the golden sand of the beaches and swim in clean, safe water.
The first sanitary passport for opening and operation was received by the "Children's" beach.
According to Pavel Pokhodiy, the Pleso municipal enterprise is currently actively cooperating with the district and city SES to obtain sanitary passports for other beaches, in particular, Predmestnaya Slobidka, Chertoroy and others. This is reported by Ukrainian National News.
In total, it is planned to prepare 29 recreation areas near the water (including 11 city centralized beaches), with a total area of 228.87 hectares.
For the first time in many years, the issue of sand filling on the capital's beach should be resolved. Today, preliminary sand filling has already been carried out on the most visited beaches of Hydropark - "Children's", "Youth" and on the beach "Central" on Trukhanov Island.
In recreation areas and on beaches, work is being carried out to clean the territories from household waste, fallen leaves and dead trees. The territories of beaches and recreation areas are provided with the necessary number of containers and bins for waste. After the disinfection of water pipes, drinking water fountains will begin to function.
