People take water for granted: we bathe in water, wash dishes, cook food in water and drink it. This colorless and tasteless liquid is an integral part of our lives and few people think about its properties, but they are, in fact, amazing.

Water and weight loss

Trying to lose weight? Water increases the speed of metabolism and improves well-being. Replace high-calorie drinks with water and drink a glass of water before meals. This will help you feel full.

Water gives a boost of energy

If you feel weak and tired, your body may be dehydrated. Water will help you get back to normal and restore your lost strength. Adequate amounts of water help the heart pump blood more efficiently and also help transport oxygen and nutrients needed by the cells of our body.

Stress and water

Water makes up 80% of the brain tissue mass, so dehydration is stressful for the body and makes it difficult for the body and mind to function properly. If a person feels thirsty, this is a sign of dehydration.

Muscle tone and water

Water helps prevent muscle cramps and also lubricates joints, allowing muscle fibers to contract more easily. This allows you to exercise more effectively.

Water and skin

Wrinkles, even the most unnoticeable ones, become more pronounced and visible if the body lacks water. Water can be called a natural, organic "cream" for the skin, nourishing it from the inside. Water moisturizes the skin, improves blood circulation and makes a person look younger.

Water and kidney stones

One of the causes of kidney stones is not drinking enough water. It dissolves salts and minerals, forming hard crystals known as stones.

Water and fiber

Fiber – dietary fiber – is a very important element in the process of losing weight. Products rich in fiber help control appetite and provide a stable level of insulin in the blood. Water can soak up fiber, which swells like a sponge, thus causing satiety.
