In January 2012, a portable inhaler that will become an alternative to coffee and energy drinks will go on sale in stores in New York and Boston.
The inhaler looks like a cylinder the size of a hunting cartridge and contains 100 mg of caffeine. To get a dose of caffeine, pull the lower, green end of the cylinder and simply inhale. The inhaler's "charge" contains 100 mg of caffeine and vitamin B. The powder is finely ground, but its particles are large enough not to penetrate the lungs. The inhaler is designed for 6-8 doses.
AeroShot, as its creators call it, is very similar to the "Chocolate Inhale" inhaler, which was released in 2009, and this is not surprising, since they have the same creator, David Edwards.
