Summer for 40% of ladies turns into a problem: vascular sprouts, and even knots on the veins can not hide under the clothes. How to deal with this?

As it turned out, the recommendations for the prevention of varicose veins of the lower extremities are simple and generally available.

Limit static loads

With sedentary or standing work, you should periodically move, give a dosed load to the muscles of the lower extremities, climb the socks, walk vigorously (you can in place). This helps to reduce muscle, improve blood circulation, increase venous outflow of blood. Daily 20-minute walks, during which the shank muscles contract, contribute to the flow of blood from the veins. During a long trip in the car, make frequent stops to warm up. While at work, bypass several times your desktop. If you fly in an airplane or go on a train, try to get up every half hour and be a bit like.

Get rid of the habit of sitting "foot on foot"

- in this position not only the outflow of blood from the legs worsens, but blood supply of the genital organs is also impaired.

Give up tight clothes

Any clothing that interferes with normal blood circulation in the area of the thighs and lower legs, in particular tight pantaloons or knee-highs, strengthens stagnant phenomena in the veins.

Avoid high heels

Shoes with high heels cause the muscles to stay in a constantly stressed state and strengthen the load on the veins of the legs. And, in addition, the fans of high heels exclude with their help during walking the work of the natural "pump" of the shin necessary for pushing the blood. Therefore, if you have to wear high heel shoes, remove them from time to time and knead the muscles of the shins. And better still give preference to shoes with medium heels (4-5 cm).

Take care of food

If you want to know better what is the cause of your swollen veins, look at what you stuff your stomach. In the diet of modern man, as a rule, contains little fiber and a lot of fat, sugar and salt. This leads to an increase in intra-abdominal pressure and constipation. Thus, the flow of blood to the lower limbs increases. Hence, it is desirable to exclude or at least limit the salted and refined products, flour and sweet, canned food, smoked products, alcohol. It is better to lean on vegetable food. It helps soften the contents of the intestine and reduces pressure on the walls of the veins. Therefore, in countries where it is customary to consume large amounts of dietary fiber, varicose veins are virtually unknown.

Among vitamins and trace elements - copper, zinc, calcium, manganese, potassium, sodium - take a big place among the substances that contribute to the strengthening of blood vessels that prevent the formation of thrombi and normalize the processes at the microcirculatory level.

Rutin (vitamin P), especially in combination with vitamin C, restores the elasticity of blood vessels, reduces permeability and fragility of capillaries.

In large quantities, this substance is found in hips, citrus fruits, black currant berries, mountain ash, black chokeberry, green tea and, oddly enough, in coffee, beer, grape wine.

Drugs from the horse chestnut seed extract and thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin R) work well. The disadvantage of the latter, by the way, leads to muscle weakness, loss of sensitivity in the legs, burning, swelling of the extremities. Contained this vitamin in beans, cereals, meat, especially pork, liver and brewer's yeast. These drugs strengthen the walls of veins, increase the tone of venous vessels, normalize hemodynamics, and soothe pain.

With a lack of vitamin B6, pain in the legs, convulsions, and skin diseases can occur. Sources of the vitamin: liver, peanuts, grains and sprouts, brewer's yeast, bran, egg yolk, chicken meat, broccoli cabbage.

Lose weight! The more weight, the greater the burden on the veins.
