The ribs (costae) are long, narrow, thin, curved bone plates. In front, the osseous part of the rib extends into the cartilaginous part - cartilago costalis. The seven upper pairs of ribs connecting at the front with the sternum are called true ribs (costae verae).
The thorax (compages thoracis) is a bone-cartilaginous formation consisting of 12 thoracic vertebrae, 12 pairs of ribs and sternum, connected by joints, synchondroses, ligaments.
The inner (sensitive) shell of the eyeball (tunica interna, s. Sensoria bulbi), or the retina, fits snugly from the inside to the choroid along its entire length, from the point of exit of the optic nerve to the edge of the pupil.
The trachea begins from the lower boundary of the larynx at the level of the VI-VII cervical vertebrae and ends at level IV-V of the thoracic vertebrae, dividing into the right and left main bronchi.
The rectum is the end section of the colon. Its length is on average 15 cm, diameter from 2.5 to 7.5 cm. In the rectum, there are two sections: an ampulla and an anal (anal) channel.
Radial bone (radius) on the proximal end has a head of radius (caput radii) with a flat indentation - articular fovea (fovea articularis) for articulation with the head of the condyle of the humerus.
Radial nerve (n. Radialis) is an extension of the posterior fasciculus of the brachial plexus. It consists of the fibers of the anterior branches of the fifth cervical - the first thoracic (CV-ThI) spinal nerves. The thickness of the radial nerve is the largest branch of the brachial plexus.
The radial artery (a. Radialis) begins 1-3 cm distal to the cleft of the humerus and continues the direction of the brachial artery. Initially, the radial artery lies between the round pronator and the humerus muscle, and in the lower third of the forearm is covered only by fascia and skin, so it is easy to probe its pulsation.
